life is full of suprises. surprising enough, I have a girl friend now.

went over to my friend's place today , not the first time I've been there but the first time I went inside the house, and amazingly there is this display her parents collected for god knows how many years (at least more than 10 years according to my friend), looked just like something I created 10 years ago when I was doing graphic design! and I thought I was the one who came up with that unique idea without any references or influences whatsoever....... still can't believe it!
and just while writing this, jim carey (spelling?) was on letterman promoting his latest movie "23", and......! that is exactly what I've been doing all my life! the only difference is instead of "23", my number is "27"! ( of course I'm not 100% sure what the whole movie is about yet, just going by what jim carey was saying)
just too much of a coincidence!

sunny, hot, a bit windy. spent most of the afternoon with scully.
haven't see her for quite a while (feels like), and it was very nice to meet up with her again. went to radio after that to meet up with another friend- E.( he is currently going through a bad break up at the moment, somehow he still believes he has good chance of getting his girlfriend back while at the very moment she's actually overseas being with someone else......wish him all the luck)
P was working at radio tonight and M was there as well. always nice to see them.

it's 11:10pm right now, just got home not so long ago.
processed that single-use-camera which was sitting in my bag for as least the past eight months, most of the photographed people has already left this country......"those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end......"
feeling a bit drunk at the moment already.

scully doesn't believe

was talking with scully just now, obviously she doesn't believe that it wasn't a weather balloon that crashed at roswell, new mexico in 1947......very disappointed in her......
yesterday, while drinking with T & G at summerville, I saw buffy!
buffy is back! but somehow it feels like she doesn't want to know me anymore.

the owner of that bar came back a couple of days ago, asked me to work on tuesday's day because according to him, he just can't help himself from "looking after me".
next day (tuesday) I turned up, and someone else is working my shift. again, the number how many times I don't even bother counting. but was I unhappy? not really, because I sort of expected it and I didn't want to work there behind the bar anyway, so thing actually worked out perfect for me. however having said that, he didn't pay me (again) for the two hours work I did that morning, as if his "thank you brother" can somehow pay my bills and put food on my table.
after that, went home to work on my web site, and tried not to think about how can I get by until next wednesday with $20 something dollars.... sometime during the afternoon the bar owner called again and asked me to work on that night because they are short of staff, not that I don't want the money, I need money, but that night I already have an appointment to meet up with someone for a potential freelance job (in design of course), so I said to him "sorry, I can't work tonight...", and as soon as I said that, he hang up on me.
where is the manner?
where is the respect?
I want to be as nice to others as possible because I would like to treated back the same,but unfortunately the world isn't as beautiful as I like it to be. sick and tired of being walked all over, sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. time for me to change.

philosophy lecturer

woke up at around 8:15a.m, left the house at around 8:30a.m, but supposed to start work at bar R 7:30a.m., late as always.
after finishing cleaning, had a coffee and cigarette there as usual.
saw that philosophy lecturer again(lecture from rmit, forgotten his name).it was the first time seeing him this year, nice to see him again .
had a 15mins or so talk about philosophy over a coffee before he has to go back to uni,as usual. enjoy talking with him very much.
meant to go to sit in one of his lecture since mid last year, but I've always been too busy (lazy) to go, but this thursday, definitely I'm going.
it has almost been a year already since having the operation, but from time to time, that side of the head still hurts a bit, like last night......

the man who wasn't there

just had one of those "period" day......at least once a month just feel totally totally crap......
just got home not long ago(an hour), and channel 7 is showing "the man who wasn't there" right now. what a surprise! it's such a great movie!
scarlette johanson(spelling?) is so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so cute! and in the movie she's called "birdy" too! ha!

a bettter tomorrow

I'm watching "a better tomorrow" on sbs right now, it's one of the best movie ever made in hong kong cinema!! as I recall it was made in 1986,over 20 years ago......feel like singing the theme song at karaoke right now......"3 years! I've been waiting for you for 3 years!......"

late again......

I gave myself a month deadline(end of this month, today) to finish building my site, and by the look of it I'm going to be late again...... one thing good about having no money is that I can stay home and totally focus on doing what has to be done, and funny enough I actually did more this month than when I was at uni last year. but of course the flip side of having no money is basically I can't really do nothing else but to stay home...it's enjoyable when I choose to stay home, and the feeling is totally different when I feel like I'm forced to..... the site is more than half done, really look forward to finish it and have it up load.
T called, talked about our first job.
J texted, asked whether I could work tomorrow at bar R, I replied "ok". it's actually very ironic that she asks me to go to work all the time after I've officially quit the job for almost 2 months, and when I was still working at the bar, they always cut off my shifts without even telling me......ironic, just like everything else in life.

buffy and spike

replied a 2 months late mail to buffy last night ,hope she is okay in canada. I think she'll be surprise if she comes back to summerville, almost everyone is gone....and it's not even half a year yet.....

it is always like this......

-whenever I want to be alone, everyone will start calling me out for birthdays farewells house-warmings or whatever, but whenever I feel like company, all of the sudden everyone is busy.

-eventhough people know I don't really like people coming over to my house, they still come over whenever they like, but whenever I feel like having someone over, they all say no.

-whenever I feel like drinking, everyone say they're trying to quit, but when I'm sick or struggling with money, all those people who were trying to quit and all those who don't usually drinks suddenly feel like drinking.

-people always call me up to go somewhere while I'm already somewhere having fun, but when I feel lonely, the phone never rings...

-whenever I really feel like talking to someone, no one answer their phone...
